Sansibar is a German independent tied to the famous bar of the same name on the island of Sylt, its single casks much sought after. Distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2025, this 33 year old Laphroaig followed.

Thirty-three years in ex-Bourbon frame the tarry medicinal core.

Bottled at cask strength, 48.2%, the ex-Bourbon gives vanilla. The profile runs to chocolate, citrus, vegetative.
