Steinhauser Bratapfel Likör

Steinhauser Bratapfel Likoer is a baked apple liqueur from Steinhauser, a Lake Constance distillery in Germany, bottled at 20%. It is built on selected apples whose fruity flavour is enhanced with winter spices, cinnamon, vanilla and a subtle caramel note, in the macerated fruit style, to recreate the warmth of a freshly baked apple in liqueur form.

The nose is intense apple with fine cinnamon spice, vanilla and a hint of caramel, the palate soft, sweet and full bodied with baked apple, cinnamon, brown sugar and a light almond spice, the finish mild, long and warm with a harmonious spice. The baked apple and warm spice profile makes it a seasonal piece for a back bar, bringing apple sweetness and cinnamon depth to a drink. It can be poured neat, gently warmed for a wintery serve, or used as a sweet spiced accent in desserts such as apple strudel or baked apple crepes. In a mix its spiced apple character suits warm serves and autumnal cocktails where cinnamon and apple are wanted.
