Steinhauser Gletscherwasser Likoer is a herbal liqueur from the Lake Constance distillery Steinhauser in Germany, bottled at 16%. It is made with pure glacier water and selected Alpine herbs, which give it a clean freshness and clarity, combining the herbs with fruity citrus notes over a gentle sweetness, in the traditional herbal liqueur style.

The nose is fresh and inviting with citrus and Alpine herbs over a fine sweetness, the palate refreshing and harmonious with a clear citrus note, a gentle herbal character and a slight sweetness that keeps it smooth, the finish long with a subtle, refreshing herbal aftertaste. Lighter and fresher than a bittersweet herbal digestif, it leans on citrus lift rather than bitterness. Serve it chilled or over ice as a digestif, where the fresh flavours show best, or lengthen it with soda or tonic for a refreshing long drink.
