Hawara Haselnuss-Likör

A hazelnut liqueur from Hawara, an Austrian brand whose name is Viennese for friend, made by Schani Beverage with natural ingredients. Hazelnut is the defining flavour, joined by nuances of creamy nougat, which places it in the nut liqueur family where roasted nut, cocoa and vanilla typically lead. At 20% it sits in the standard nut liqueur range, rich enough for dessert work yet light enough to mix.

The nose carries subtle nougat and hazelnut, the palate fine hazelnut with nuances of nougat, supported by cream, almond, vanilla, caramel and cocoa, finishing long on the palate. In a drink it adds roasted nut body, sweetness and a soft cocoa edge, so it enriches a nutty Espresso Martini, a hazelnut White Russian or an Alexander style cream cocktail, and pours neat over ice as a dessert measure. It can be enjoyed neat or used in cocktails and mixed drinks. Serve chilled or over ice to firm up its creamy texture.
