An apple and cinnamon liqueur from Hawara, made in Vienna by Schani Beverage as a homage to the city and its coffee house culture, inspired by apple strudel. It is produced as a natural liqueur, without artificial flavourings, colourings or preservatives, which is a clear selling point for a bar wanting clean label fruit liqueurs. At 23% it sits comfortably in the fruit liqueur range, strong enough to mix yet gentle enough to pour neat.

The nose is fruity apple with fine cinnamon and a subtle sweetness, the palate juicy and round with clear apple fruit, harmonious cinnamon and a pleasant sweetness, closing soft and spicy with a long balanced apple and cinnamon finish. In a drink it adds orchard apple fruit, warm baking spice and a gentle sweetness, so it lifts a spiced apple highball, an autumn sour or a hot toddy and pairs naturally with apple strudel, Kaiserschmarrn or vanilla ice cream. Served neat at room temperature it reads as a dessert measure. Keep chilled for a fresher pour.
