NODO Coffee Liqueur / Kaffeelikör

This is a coffee liqueur on an agave base, not a tequila, made by NODO from its own Tequilana Blanco distilled from 100% Blue Weber agave. The base spirit is infused with ground coffee beans sourced from Huatusco in Veracruz, then softened with cane sugar syrup and bottled at 35%, a sweet flavoured liqueur designed for sipping and mixing rather than neat agave appreciation.

The pairing leans on the natural affinity between cooked agave and roasted coffee, with fine coffee aromatics sitting over a faint agave scent and the two carrying through together on the palate. Lower in strength and sweetened by design, it works chilled, over ice, stirred into coffee cocktails or served as a digestif. It is a liqueur in the full sense, flavoured and sweetened, so the agave reads as a supporting frame rather than the headline.
