Cincoro Anejo is the project of basketball figure Michael Jordan and a group of NBA team owners, a 100% Blue Weber tequila built from a blend of highland and valley agave in Jalisco. It sits at the luxury end of the market, presented in a sculpted bottle designed by Mark Smith of Nike, the name fusing the Spanish words cinco and oro for the five founding partners.

The anejo is matured up to twenty eight months in Kentucky bourbon whiskey casks, a long rest that puts barrel sweetness in the lead. Aromas of oak, cooked agave, salted caramel, maple and sweet orange give way to a palate of cooked agave, dark chocolate, caramel, orange peel, toasted oak and butter toffee. The finish is soft and warm with dried fruit and butter, an approachable and openly sweet sipping style at 40%.
