Cincoro Reposado is the rested expression of Cincoro, a 100% Blue Weber tequila from a blend of valley and highland agave, produced at NOM 1438, the Casa Maestri facility in Jalisco. The brand is owned by Michael Jordan and a group of NBA team owners, and its agave leaf shaped bottle was designed by Nike's Mark Smith. This Reposado is the modern, soft and sweet side of the range, leaning almost into liqueur territory and aimed at newer drinkers.
Eight to ten months in Kentucky ex bourbon American oak round the spirit and quiet the pepper that marks the blanco. The nose opens on caramel and maple sirup, while the palate is very light and sweetish, with agave, caramel, vanilla, chocolate, a little pepper and a faint trace of smoke from the wood, bottled at 40%. American oak pushes the vanilla and caramel that define this gentle, accessible style.
