Description
Kah is a 100% Blue Weber agave tequila range built around the imagery of Día de los Muertos, its bottle and identity drawn from the Mexican Day of the Dead, with the word kah meaning life in an old Maya tongue. This is the anejo in the line that runs from blanco through reposado and extra anejo, aged at least a year in oak to earn the class.
The maturation pushes the profile toward darker territory than a younger tequila, with notes of chocolate, coffee, tobacco and a touch of smoke from the wood sitting alongside vanilla and toasted oak. A fine, insistent spice runs underneath, and the whole is built to be sipped neat at room temperature. Bottled at 40%, it trades some of the agave brightness of a blanco for the complexity that time in cask brings.
