Description
Kah Añejo is a 100 percent agave tequila best known for its hand finished ceramic skull bottle, inspired by Día de los Muertos, with each decanter individually decorated. The range runs from blanco through extra añejo, and this añejo is the aged middle of the line, built as much around the bottle ritual as the liquid inside.
The spirit is aged two years in American white oak, which carries the colour and the leading aromas of chocolate, coffee, tobacco and a touch of smoke woven through vanilla and oak with a fine penetrating spice. The palate follows the same complex thread of dark roast and barrel sweetness, with the agave sitting at mid palate under the wood. Bottled at 40 percent, it is built for sipping neat at room temperature.
