Reserva del Señor Blanco Tequila

Reserva del Senor Blanco is a tequila from Tequila del Senor, a Jalisco producer now in its fourth generation and present in markets across more than fifty countries. As a blanco it is bottled at or near distillation strength, 38% here, which keeps the cooked agave and the distillery's own hand at the front rather than any cask influence.

The nose opens floral, with caramel and sweet toasted spice giving it a rounded feel. On the palate it reads mild and dry, with notes of fresh cream, grilled chilli and gentle roasted spice, closing on a spiced, savoury wave with a faint vegetal edge of fried asparagus. It is a straightforward, food friendly expression of agave azul, made to drink neat or to carry a cocktail.
