Koval is an organic, handcrafted gin from Chicago, made by one of the first distilleries to open in the city since the Prohibition era. The approach is modern and uncompromising: 100% organic ingredients and only the purest heart of each distillation kept back, which gives the spirit its clean, fresh character and an unusual smoothness for something bottled at a hearty 47%.

The nose is fresh juniper with floral and spicy nuance, a hint of citrus and white pepper. The palate is complex and harmonious, classic juniper meeting citrus zest, lavender and subtle spice, before a gently sweet, herbal finish that runs long and elegant. Pour it into a G&T with a dry tonic and a twist of grapefruit, or let it carry a Negroni.
