A floral daydream with bite: roses and garden flowers drift over juniper and coriander, with cool cucumber, a peppery snap and fennel-and-liquorice undertones. Lesley Gracie built this around the blooms of the Hendrick’s gardens. Light pink, delicate and made for a long, lazy afternoon.

Description
Hendrick's has been bending the rules since 1999, and Flora Adora comes from Master Distiller Lesley Gracie's own garden at the Gin Palace, where bees and butterflies feed on a riot of flowers. She built this expression around that scene, keeping the familiar Hendrick's base of juniper and coriander but lacing it with sweet floral nuances and fresh greenery. The result is recognisably Hendrick's, but tilted toward the blossom, with a pale pink cast in the glass.
The nose is mild and floral, earthy and citrus-touched, with juniper and faint hints of fennel and liquorice. The palate turns peppery and tart, roses and garden flowers wrapped around cool cucumber. It finishes long, light and dry, cucumber and citrus lingering. Serve it with tonic and a slice of cucumber, or build a Wildgarden Cup of cucumber, mint and raspberries topped with fresh lemonade for something wonderfully easy.
