That honesty, paired with a firmer 45%, gives it more grip and definition than the softer, sweetened Panama rons it shares a shelf with.

Distilled on a column still from molasses and matured in ex-bourbon oak, its flavour leans on the cask and the spirit rather than dosage. The nose opens with vanilla, apple, tobacco and a floral lift, the palate turns to apricot, cocoa, nutmeg and a clear seam of oak, and the finish runs long on tobacco, citrus, black pepper and a bourbon echo. Drier and more articulate than most Panama entries, it rewards neat sipping and shows real wood character without leaning on sugar to smooth the edges.
