Turntable Track 05 - Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger TuSp 2024 Limited Edition (Turntable Spirits) is a blended Scotch from Turntable Spirits. It marries malt and grain whiskies, with Speyside malt such as Dalmunach for a fresh, fruity lift. Sixteen stainless washbacks feed four wash and four spirit stills.

Dalmunach lends a light, fruity Speyside freshness to the blend. A Pedro Ximenez cask gave the young spirit raisin, date and a treacle sweetness. The clean, fruity make takes a sherry or wine cask especially well at a young age. It is a young distillery, so most bottlings are independent single casks of modest age. Most Dalmunach is laid down for blending, a little finding its way into single cask bottlings. Single malt Dalmunach is scarce, the spirit being a blend component first and foremost. Vanillin and oak lactones from the wood lend vanilla and coconut over the fruity malt.

At its natural 59.1% it is concentrated. Soft orchard fruit, honey and a gentle spice run through it, fresh and approachable. Soft orchard fruit and a fresh honey sit behind the cask. The finish is clean, bright and fruity. A characterful blended Scotch.
