A Tullibardine single malt, selected and bottled by Gourmetpool GmbH matured to 30 year old from 1991, drawn from cask 375 and bottled at 43.1%. A release of 190 bottles. Tullibardine, established in 1949 at the foot of the Ochil Hills, is known for its wine cask finishes. Water comes from the Ochil Hills springs, the same source as the Highland Spring bottled water.

Distilled in copper stills on Ochil Hills spring water, giving the light, fruity spirit at its heart. Ex-Bourbon casks held it, soft oak that lets the honeyed fruit lead. At thirty years and more it is rich and mellow, candied fruit, honey and old oak in a deep old malt. A patient maturation suits the soft, honeyed Tullibardine character. Delme-Evans, a noted gravity flow designer, also drew up the Jura and GlenAllachie distilleries. The malt also feeds the Highland Queen blend, another brand in the Picard stable.

At its natural 43.1% it is concentrated. The refill oak lending honey and vanilla, with pear, honey and a malty note. The texture is soft and round, the fruit lifted by honey. The finish is rounded, honeyed and gentle. This is Tullibardine's fruity Highland style.
