The Vintage Malt Whisky Company's Cooper's Choice carries this Old Rhosdhu, a historic Loch Lomond malt name, a 25 year old from 1994 drawn from cask 220.
A quarter century in ex-Bourbon mellows the light spirit, the low-tannin oak lending vanilla as the angel's share eased the strength.
At 48.5% it shows the soft maturity of great age, light malt and honey over old wood. A mature Old Rhosdhu.
