Description

Loch Lomond Single Grain is the distillery's flagship grain whisky, and a rarity: it is distilled from a 100% malted-barley mash, not the usual wheat or maize, on a continuous still. Almost no one else in Scotland makes grain this way.

Matured in American oak, the light, high-strength spirit takes vanilla and a soft sweetness readily from the low-tannin wood.

At 46% it shows fresh fruit, honey, vanilla and a citric lift over chocolate and new wood, floral and sweet. The signature malted-barley grain.
