The Remarkable Stills series celebrates Loch Lomond's unique still house, the most versatile in Scotland. Release No. 1 is a 1973 vintage 45 Year Old, an outturn of 200 bottles at cask strength, matured in American oak and Oloroso.

Forty-five years across the two woods built profound depth, the bourbon-style oak lending vanilla and the Oloroso dried fruit through its melanoidins; the angel's share eased and concentrated the cask over four and a half decades.

At 42.2% it shows the deep, mellow maturity of a great age, soft fruit and sherried depth worn to silk. A landmark Remarkable Stills 45.
