Description

This older Inchmurrin 12 Year Old shows a sherried side to Loch Lomond's floral island malt, the fruit deepened toward dried and cooked notes. Distilled in the straight-neck Lomond stills.

Twelve years in ex-Bourbon with a sherry influence give the fruit more weight, the cask lending vanilla and a touch of dried-fruit sweetness.

At 40% it shows cooked and dried fruit, fresh fruit, honey and a sherried note over vanilla, a richer Inchmurrin than the modern bottling. An older island malt.
