The Original is Loch Lomond's no-age-statement core malt, the everyday face of the range, drawn from the distillery's blend of straight- and swan-neck spirit for an approachable Highland profile.

Matured in American oak, the low-tannin wood lends vanilla and a soft sweetness to a light, fruity spirit without weighing it down.

At 40% it shows fresh and cooked fruit, honey, vanilla and a fragrant lift, lignin in the oak giving the vanilla note. A soft, easy Loch Lomond.
