Description

This Inchmoan 12, themed Rich Smoke and Spice, leans into the heavier end of Loch Lomond's peated island malt. The same distillery that makes the floral Inchmurrin makes this smoky sibling.

Twelve years in ex-Bourbon lend vanilla beneath a peated spirit, the low-tannin oak softening a dense smoke.

At 46% it shows wood smoke with a cooked-mash and cooked-vegetable depth, a nutty note and a coal-gas edge over fresh fruit, the peat phenols driving the reek. A smoky Inchmoan.
