Loch Lomond Inchmoan 1992

This Inchmoan 1992 was distilled exclusively in Loch Lomond's straight-neck Lomond stills and bottled at 25 years, an outturn of 314 bottles at cask strength. A mature, single-still expression of the peated island malt.

Twenty-five years in ex-Bourbon mellow the smoke, the low-tannin oak lending vanilla while the angel's share has eased the cask over the decades.

At 48.6% it shows a softened wood smoke with chocolate, a coal-gas edge, fresh fruit and a mossy, glasshouse-green note, the peat now woven into a mature whole. A mature single-still Inchmoan.
