Description

The Scotch Malt Whisky Society began with a shared cask of Glenfarclas and grew into the world's best-known whisky club. This 29 year old Linkwood, from cask 39.175, was distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2018, part of The chocolate and wine diet series.

It spent twenty-nine years in ex-Bourbon, long enough to round Linkwood's gentle, fruity Speyside style.

At 49.1%, undiluted, the American oak adds vanilla over the orchard fruit. Expect green apple, pear and a grassy, honeyed lift.
