Linkwood 13 Years Old 2008 (Phil & Simon Thompson)

The Thompson Brothers run the Dornoch distillery and hotel in the far north of Scotland, their tongue-in-cheek labels masking serious cask selection is an independent bottler. Distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2021, this is a 13 year old Linkwood.

Thirteen years in ex-Bourbon frame the refined, floral character.

Bottled undiluted at 52%, the American oak lends vanilla and a light spice. It carries citrus, a nutty note, fresh fruit, a malt note, new wood, vanilla.
