Murray McDavid, the independent founded in 1996, is known for its cask finishes. An 8 year old Linkwood, from cask 313709A to 313713, this was distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2021, in the Benchmark range.
A bourbon barrel and eight years settle the bright, orchard-fruit spirit.
Bottled at 46%, the bourbon wood lends vanilla and a clean oak edge. A bright, fragrant Speyside, apple and honey to the last.
