Description

Ian Macleod Distillers, the family firm behind Glengoyne and Tamdhu, bottles single casks under its Chieftain's and Dun Bheagan labels. Distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2012, this is a 15 year old Linkwood, from cask 6357, part of the Dun Bheagan series.

Fifteen years in ex-Bourbon lend a light oak frame to Linkwood's green-apple-and-grass character.

Bottled at 43%, the ex-Bourbon gives vanilla and a soft, creamy oak. The fruit is bright and the texture silky, classic Linkwood.
