Linkwood 40 Years Old 1970 Cask #811 (Private Collection)

Since 1895 Gordon & MacPhail has selected and matured casks in Elgin, the doyen of independent bottlers. The cask was filled in 1970 and bottled in 2010, a 40 year old Linkwood, from cask 811.

Forty years in Oloroso layer the cask onto the elegant, floral Linkwood make.

At 45%, the sherry cask adds dried fruit and nutmeg. Expect fresh fruit.
