Description

Douglas Laing has bottled single casks from its Glasgow base since Fred Laing founded the firm in 1948. An 8 year old Linkwood, from cask DL 12809, this was distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2018.

It spent eight years in ex-Bourbon, long enough to round Linkwood's fresh, grassy fruitiness.

Bottled at 46%, the bourbon cask lends vanilla and light spice. Soft pear, meadow flowers and a wisp of vanilla.
