Description

One of a trio of 1981 Linkwoods released in Diageo's 2008 Special Releases, each given a different finish, this one Port. A cask strength bottling of 1,260 bottles.

Twenty-six years of maturation and a Port finish set the wine cask's plum and red fruit against Linkwood's light, floral Speyside spirit.

At 56.9% the Port lends plum and cherry with a drying edge, over the distillery's orchard fruit and honey. A Port-finished Special Releases Linkwood.
