The Whisky Jury is a respected Belgian independent, a single-cask label with a devoted following. This bottling is a 10 year old Williamson, from cask twj-Lph01, laid down in 2010 and drawn off in 2020. The Williamson name marks a teaspooned Laphroaig, a cask carrying a token spoonful of another malt that disqualifies the single-malt label. It honours Bessie Williamson, the first woman to own a Scotch distillery, who ran Laphroaig from 1954.

An ex-Bourbon cask and ten years shape its phenolic, medicinal smoke.

At 52.2%, undiluted, with sweet vanilla from the ex-Bourbon cask. It carries a coal-gas edge, leather, a medicinal edge, old wood, smoke, tobacco.
