Laphroaig 20 Years Old 2000 (SMWS 29.275)

The Scotch Malt Whisky Society grew from a 1978 cask-sharing syndicate into the club founded in 1983 at The Vaults in Leith. A 20 year old Laphroaig, from cask 29.275, this was distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2020., from the Roaming in the gloaming range.

Matured in Oloroso, twenty years wrap the tarry medicinal core in the cask's character.

Bottled undiluted at 56.6%, sherry-soaked fig and raisin from the Oloroso. It carries honey.
