Laphroaig 19 Years Old 1998 (SMWS 29.252)

The Scotch Malt Whisky Society began with a shared cask of Glenfarclas and grew into the world's best-known whisky club. This 19 year old Laphroaig, from cask 29.252, was distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2017. in the Nostalgislay range.

Matured in ex-Bourbon, nineteen years carry the iodine-rich spirit.

Bottled undiluted at 60%, the bourbon cask adds vanilla. The medicinal smoke is unmistakable, brine and tar behind it.
