Description

Andrew Symington started Signatory Vintage in 1988, a hotel manager turned one of Scotland's busiest bottlers. This bottling is a 6 year old Laphroaig, from cask 3680, laid down in 2000 and drawn off in 2007. in The Un-Chillfiltered Collection.

6 years in ex-Bourbon leave the oak to the iodine and tar of the make.

At 46%, the American oak leaves vanilla. The profile runs to a solvent note.
