Description

R. W. Duthie revives a historic bottling name once tied to Cadenhead's, the firm behind some legendary old Islay casks. Filled in 1970 and bottled 1986, the whisky is a 16 year old Laphroaig.

Sixteen years in ex-Bourbon frame the smoky, antiseptic make.

Bottled at cask strength, 54%, vanilla and coconut from the bourbon oak. Medicinal smoke, kelp and tar in the house style.
