R. W. Duthie revives a historic bottling name once tied to Cadenhead's, the firm behind some legendary old Islay casks. The cask was filled in 1967 and bottled in 1982, a 15 year old Laphroaig.

Held in Oloroso for fifteen years, the cask steeps Laphroaig's antiseptic, oily smoke in dried fruit.

Bottled undiluted at 57%, the Oloroso brings a nutty, dried-fruit richness. Expect chocolate, dried fruit, leather, citrus, a coal-gas edge, tobacco.
