Malts of Scotland bottles single casks at natural strength from its German base. Distilled in 2004 and bottled in 2020, this 16 year old Laphroaig, from cask MoS 20020 followed.

Sixteen years in ex-Bourbon let the oak work Laphroaig's tar-and-iodine smoke.

Bottled undiluted at 52.7%, the bourbon cask adds vanilla. It carries a malt note, a medicinal edge, a dry sandy note, smoke, vanilla.
