Williamson 13 Years Old LiSo (Living Souls)

Living Souls is an independent bottler. This 13 year old Williamson was bottled in 2025. The Williamson label denotes teaspooned Laphroaig: a spoonful of another malt added to the cask, enough to require a blended-malt designation. Bessie Williamson, who took the distillery over in 1954, gives the name.

Matured in ex-Bourbon, thirteen years carry its oily, tarry smoke.

Bottled at 46%, bourbon-cask vanilla underneath. The profile runs to a nutty note, a malt note, a medicinal edge, smoke, citrus, fresh fruit.
