Description

Hunter Laing was formed in 2013 when Stewart Laing split from Douglas Laing, taking the Old Malt Cask and Old & Rare ranges. A 25 year old Laphroaig, this was distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2022., part of the Old & Rare - A Platinum Selection.

Ex-Bourbon and twenty-five years round the distillery's medicinal, briny peat.

Bottled undiluted at 54.4%, the ex-Bourbon gives vanilla. Tar, smoke and antiseptic iodine run the length of it.
