Description

Duncan Taylor began as a Glasgow cask broker in 1938 and now bottles from Huntly in Aberdeenshire. The cask was filled in 2011 and bottled in 2024, a 12 year old Laphroaig, from cask 56409., part of the Single Cask series.

Aged twelve years in ex-Bourbon, the oak rounds the tarry, iodine-laced spirit.

At 54.4%, undiluted, with sweet vanilla from the ex-Bourbon cask. It carries cooked fruit.
