Description

The Laing family has bottled whisky from Glasgow since 1948, Douglas Laing carrying the name. The cask was filled in 2004 and bottled in 2021, a 16 year old Laphroaig, from cask DL 14857.

Sixteen years in the bourbon cask lend vanilla to the tarry medicinal core.

At 52.4%, undiluted, the ex-Bourbon gives vanilla. Seaweed, smoke and iodine in the Laphroaig manner.
