Laphroaig 21 Years Old 1998 Cask #DL 14020 (Old Particular)

The Laing family has bottled whisky from Glasgow since 1948, Douglas Laing carrying the name. Distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2020, this 21 year old Laphroaig, from cask DL 14020 followed.

Matured in Oloroso, twenty-one years wrap the heavily peated make in the cask's character.

Bottled undiluted at 59.9%, the Oloroso brings dried fruit, fig and walnut. Expect a coal-gas edge, smoke.
