Description

The Laing family has bottled whisky from Glasgow since 1948, Douglas Laing carrying the name. The cask was filled in 1996 and bottled in 2011, a 15 year old Laphroaig, from cask DL 7966., from The Old Malt Cask range.

Held in ex-Bourbon for fifteen years, the oak settles the deep south-shore peat.

At its natural 50%, vanilla and light oak from the ex-Bourbon. Expect tarry peat, iodine and a coastal salinity.
