Description

Douglas Laing has bottled single casks from its Glasgow base since Fred Laing founded the firm in 1948. The cask was filled in 1989 and bottled in 2015, a 26 year old Laphroaig, from cask DL 10898.

Held in ex-Bourbon for twenty-six years, the oak settles the tarry medicinal core.

At 52.4%, undiluted, the bourbon oak lends vanilla. Oily peat, iodine and a coastal edge.
