Description

Scotland's oldest independent, Cadenhead's has selected casks since 1842 and is owned by the Springbank family. Filled in 1998 and bottled 2012, the whisky is a 14 year old Laphroaig.

Time in ex-Bourbon, fourteen years of it, frames the brine-soaked peat smoke.

At its natural 60.2%, vanilla from years in the bourbon barrel. Tar, smoke and antiseptic iodine run the length of it.
