Cadenhead's bottles in the old style, without colour or chill filtration, a habit kept since 1842. Distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2012, this 14 year old Laphroaig followed.

Fourteen years in ex-Bourbon frame its peaty, maritime character.

Bottled at cask strength, 59.3%, the American oak brings vanilla. Oily peat, iodine and a coastal edge.
