Description

Cadenhead's bottles in the old style, without colour or chill filtration, a habit kept since 1842. Filled in 1991 and bottled 2014, the whisky is a 22 year old Laphroaig.

From ex-Bourbon, twenty-two years draw out its medicinal south-Islay peat.

At its natural 49.8%, bourbon-cask vanilla underneath. Tarry smoke and sea-salt, unmistakably south-shore Islay.
