Description

Scotland's oldest independent, Cadenhead's has selected casks since 1842 and is owned by the Springbank family. Filled in 1990 and bottled 2001, the whisky is a 10 year old Laphroaig.

Ten years in a bourbon hogshead shape the tarry medicinal core.

Bottled at 46%, the bourbon cask adds vanilla. Tarry smoke and sea-salt, unmistakably south-shore Islay.
