Description

Blackadder, founded in 1995 and named for Bishop John Blackadder, is known for its sediment-rich Raw Cask bottlings. This 18 year old Laphroaig, from cask 2247, came off the stills in 1990 and was bottled in 2008. in the Raw Cask range.

Eighteen years in a bourbon hogshead shape the heavily peated make.

At 56.3%, undiluted, with vanilla from years in the bourbon barrel. Oily peat, iodine and a coastal edge.
