Description

Britain's oldest wine and spirits merchant, Berry Bros & Rudd has bottled whisky for over a century. The cask was filled in 2010 and bottled in 2024, a 14 year old Williamson, from cask 875044. This is Williamson, the name independents use for teaspooned Laphroaig, a cask spiked with a token spoonful of another malt so it cannot carry the Laphroaig name. Bessie Williamson, who ran the distillery from 1954, lends the name.

Fourteen years in a bourbon hogshead shape the tarry, iodine-laced spirit.

At its natural 56.8%, vanilla and light oak from the ex-Bourbon. It carries citrus.
